Any use of the services provided through Style Xchange are governed by the following Terms and Conditions (T’s and C’s). Terms These Ts and Cs apply to all users of our website and customers renting clothing items.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Style Xchange Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Every transaction on Style Xchange is accompanied by a Rental Agreement, which incorporates these T’s and C’s.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and Juno Official Trading as Style Xchange that govern your right to use the websites, applications, and other offerings from Style Xchange (collectively, the “Style Xchange Platform”). When used in these Terms, “Style Xchange,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Juno Official Trading as Style Xchange.

The Style Xchange Platform enables users (“Users”) to search for and book clothing rental services. Users who book or use services are referred to as “Customers.” Style Xchange enters into a contract directly with the Customers.

- Providing clothing items that are of good quality and fit for use.

Scope of Style Xchange Services

Style Xchange provides an online platform that enables Members to offer, search for, and book clothing rental services. Hosts and Customers must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Terms of Use

By using the Style Xchange Platform, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms, whether or not you become a registered Member. If you do not agree to these Terms, you have no right to access or use the Style Xchange Platform.

You further agree to the terms of Shopify, which may be accessed at https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms

Modification of Terms

Style Xchange reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes to these Terms, we will post the revised Terms on the Style Xchange Platform and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms. We will also provide you with notice of the modifications by email at least thirty (30) days before the date they become effective.

ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS

Style Xchange uses electronic media to conclude transactions therefore the following is understood by users of the website:

- Data messages, including rental agreements, are legally recognised.

- Electronic forms and signatures are accepted.

- Data messages are admissible as evidence in legal proceedings..

USER OBLIGATIONS

Users must use our website and services responsibly.

Users must not engage in illegal or harmful activities on our website.

Account Registration

You must register an account to access and use certain features of the Style Xchange Platform, such as publishing or booking a Listing. Registration requires you to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information up-to-date.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for any damage to the clothing items they rent through the Style Xchange Platform. Customers must return the items in the condition they were received, subject to normal wear and tear.

ITEM AVAILABILITY

sometimes Clothing will not be available. Unfortunately we make no warranties or guarantees that the Clothing which is listed on the Website is available. There may be situations in which incidents may occur which are out of our control and the Clothing may at short notice not be available anymore (for instance when the previous customer has not returned the Clothing or has damaged the Clothing).

We endeavour to give as much notice as we are able to in the circumstances to allow you to make alternative arrangements and will refund any Hire Costs already paid if we cannot fulfil a Hire.

PAYMENTS

Style Xchange provides payment services to its users through Payfast (https://payfast.io/)

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Style Xchange is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Style Xchange Platform.
